Just QQ lost his back ups. To me it was implied QQ erased his own back ups when he took out Cerebrax. Forge was killed and has already been resurrected.

It's not really the Cuckoos' fault they're so (at times delightfully) atrocious. Like everything else bad that happened to their generation, they are really Emma Frost's fault.

BTW...that Ommadon quote from Flight of Dragons, right? I loved that movie when I was a kid. So nostalgic....

Great now I have that stuck in my head. Flight of Dragons has always been one of my faves and I don't think it gets as much praise as it deserves. Also a good book. It is right up there with The Last Unicorn. But now I have the song Flight of Dragons in my head.

For me, Quire was the most likable character in this wretched book.

I know there are some people who actualy like the character, not denying that, but at large most reactions i see towards him being used in anything are either bored indifference or angry annoyance.

Like there isn't even a larger "love to hate" group readers, who might enjoy seeing bad things happen to him and are willing to buy comics for that, but more a massive "please stop using him" one, who might actualy avoid comics with him (of course that is hard to determine on a comic mostly featuring Wolverine, who sells anything).

Quire feels like an archetypical example of a character who is popular with writers but utterly unpopular with most readers.

Which wouldn't be so bad if there weren't hundred different X-men characters who are actualy seen as having "potential" yet remain unused, while this character failed to catch on for 20 years.

It's pretty clear Marvel doesn't want to invest in this book and it's IP. Blaming the writer who is pretty much using the same group of characters for such a lengthy run isn't gonna make a difference if Marvel doesn't want this book to get more recognition

Graydon Creed isn't a scientist, and Bolibar Trask on top of being dead, he was an anthropologist, not a doctor... plus he wouldn't turn humans into monsters, he wouldn't cross that line...
