Great Job Foxley!

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
CONGRATULATIONS FOXLEY
Thanks for your vote! I
I almost used that cover myself when I was searching but came back here and saw it was already entered! Anyway, I was OK with the Daredevil cover with the Trapster I used since it also features the reaching hands of Doctor Doom. foretelling the surprise ending

Well, I got close this week. Honestly didn’t expect my WW cover to do that well.
Congratulations to foxley!

Congratulations to foxley for a cover which Decidedly Contained tracks. Shadow #1 gets credit for its at least THIRD win going back to 9/27/16 from Greg Hatcher for Life in the Big City, and some weird dude called CaptCleghorn on 8/24/21 for Larger Than Life. Lamont Cranston has Rex-like potential in this contest it seems.
As to what the captain has learned this time for our Peak of the Week, he has learned that railroad tracks are very dangerous places. In his years of commuting on a train, he has encountered some weird train facts like how an outbreak of gypsy moth caterpillars can actually slime up tracks enough to eliminate friction from tracks. There are also risks from sparks from tracks hitting dry plant growth causing wildfires. And kids, don't play on the tracks.
Grateful thanks go to From The Shadows for their kind vote.
I’ll don the mask and wear the cape
If I am super, how can I wait?
Yay, foxley!
Thanks for the vote, Shalla Bal!

You know, I have to say, there were surprisingly few "women tied to railroad tracks" covers that I saw while googling various iterations of 'railroad tracks' and 'comics'.
