looks like we have some Avengers imposters trying to infiltrate Krakoa, wonder who could it be, Orchis or the Eternals.
Also def doesn't look like Emma is liking being blindsided and hearing about Scotts actions through the Daily Bugle

They've got a much better hook this year than they did for last year's gala. That combined with the fact that it's just 1 issue gives me hope it will tell a focused story instead of meandering fluff that was last year's gala.

Tbf if the Quiet Council was given any heads up, Ben Urich would be found in a dumpster with his metaphorical brain leaking out of his ears and Scott would be waking up thinking “You know, I never realized how much I don’t appreciate Charles. I’m never going to question him again!”

Or he could've told them after he told Urich, instead of laying in bed with Jean. It would've gave the council some time to prepare how they would respond to press and politicians

Yeah, these are imposters - Hulk and Black Widow are not on the current team of Avengers.
Also, the current Donny Cates Hulk has 'Smashtronaut' gear bonded to him that's missing in this Hulk.

My first thought was the Winter Guard:

Red Widow / Black Widow
Crimson Dynamo / Hulkbuster
Ursa Major / Classic Hulk
Red Guardian / Captain America

but I'm probably wrong on that one.

Anywho... I was so transfixed by the image of those two that I didn't even read the dialogue. I loved this bit:
