I didn't plan on getting this title--the modern take on the Marvel/Shazam Family really isn't appealing to me--but my LCS owner pulled it for me because I've always picked up Shazam series, so I decided to give the first issue a try. Really glad I did too because it was a lot of fun. Hopefully I'm saying the same thing about a CMJ series sometime soon (and that we discover he's been secretly dying his hair blonde and can no longer afford hair dye).

I enjoyed and I’ll see where the story goes. I definitely like her last costume better and the power-sharing between the kids has always been interesting. I really enjoyed the last series and don’t mind that Mary has some hang ups and trauma to work through from her upbringing.
I wonder if she’ll end up sharing power with her friends at some point?
