But then the late 90s and early 2000, you could really see the death knell coming right on in. And now we have really good animated shows like Arcane, Castlevania, Invincible, and so on. Of course, I think Exosquad predicted this even though NBC/Universal has no animated shows of any importance except for a deal with Seth MacFarlane and owned two studios, one being Universal Animated Studios and DreamWorks Animation. But what was your favorite Saturday morning cartoon before the fall?
Exosquad, for all its Leifeld-esque costumes superimposed on a military milleu, was excellent. That is a property that deserves Amazon or HBO to pick it up as a live-action series.

It definitely aired here in Australia on a Saturday once. So it qualifies here.

FASA lost because of how their tabletop game and the whole unseen mess with RRobotech happed. It also ended with Playmates telling FASA that they don't own Exosquad, but that Vivendi/Universal now NBC/Universal owned the rights. Playmates only owned the licensing to make the toys and the bizarre Sega Genesis game. And all licensing with Universal and Playmates ended a long time ago, and now reverted back to Universal.
