It's finally time to announce and official release! I'm pretty excited, having not done anything on this scale in a really long time. On the off chance anyone is close enough to come by, I'll give you one free comic for mentioning this post and saying the words "The Hawk flies again" in person (limited one per group).

Alright so, now I'm trying my hand at press releases. I'd really appreciate some feedback on this, or this thread here in general. What do you guys think?

The Art of Randyl Bishop and Lunar Works Productions with the support of Genterine Records is excited to announce the release of The Hawk of New York; The Official Soundtrack!

THE HAWK OF NEW YORK is a great CD of 16 1980s cover songs and one original sung by artists worldwide! It is the first ever soundtrack to accompany a comic book! First conceived as a comic book by artist Randyl Bishop in the 1980s, he has now, after some years in the comic book industry, rebooted the entire series, entitled The Hawk of New York! Issue one of the comic has received positive reviews, most notably industry cornerstone Ain't It Cool News. (http://www.aintitcool.com/node/67044#4). The music of the time period plays an integral part in the narrative set in the 1980s and features covers by bands like Radio Cult, Celia Gary, The Lost Boys, Cydetrax, Farpoint, October Layne, Pure Ed, Neil Lee Griffin: The Scarecrow of Upstate South Carolina, and many more! It features Latvian punk sensation Konservetie Stringi ("Canned G-Strings").

Issue one of the accompanying comic book and the CD itself will ship on August 23rd, 2014!
