    Default Favorite Ralph Bakshi Movie?

For me hands down it's American Pop. It's highly underrated, few of his other works have the same emotional impact, the soundtrack is phenomenal and it's arguably his best film.

I absolutely loved Coonskin and consider it to be one of my all time favorite films.

Muddled as it was, have to go with Lord of the Rings. Seeing it in the theatres as a kid got me interested in reading the books. Of course I liked the Rankin-Bass Hobbit as well so maybe my opinion should be taken with a grain of salt.

Seconded. People might know it for it's other name, Street Fight.

Probably American Pop, I watched it a lot as a kid.

I also liked his Mighty Mouse series, which was a huge influence on 90s cartoons.

Do you remember the episode that some "decency" group thought Mighty Mouse was sniffing coke? it was a flower.

I do, I'm sure they were just watching a little too closely because it was a Bakshi cartoon. It was just a little added flourish that you see all the time now on shows like Spongebob.

I loved both his Lord of the Rings and Wizards... Fire and Ice not so much and some of the others not familiar with at all.

Ralph Bakshi is a champion, loved his Mighty Heroes completely.

I'm a D&D nerd, so of course I'm going to love LotR and Wizards.

But American Pop is, imo, Bakshi's finest.

A poppy, and considering it's Bakshi, might not have been accidental.
