So we had a thread about the best villain quotes, and one asking if you could change a line in a movie what would it be.
They got me thinking about my favorite over all lines in a movie. Be it from a hero, villain, side character.
I have 3 that I can think of off the top of my head.
The first is in A Miracle on 34th Street.
In the judges chamber during the trial his Political Advisor played by the Great William Frawley
"If you go out there and declare there is no Santa Claus you can count on two votes, Yours and the District Attorneys." The judge looks sad and answers
"The District Attorney is a Republican."
The next is in the 1999 movie Inherit the Wind. it was George C Scotts last Role. The line comes right after his character has a heart attack in the courtroom and dies.
The reporter asks "How do you write an obituary for a man who died 20 years ago."
The third was from the Movie A Time To Kill. after the jury is selected an All White jury Sam L Jackson character Carl Lee Hailey says "A Jury of my Peers." Oliver Platt who plays Harry Rex just kind of looks on dryly and says "God Bless America."
So what are you favorite lines?
