I wonder if this will be part of Amazing Spider-Man or its own standalone miniseries? Anyway, I'm not loving Maddie's new costume, and the crown looks atrocious, but with Zeb Wells writing, and with me being a fan of Spider-Man, the X-Men, Ben Reilly and Madelyne Pryor, for me this is fanboy heaven.
yes, same for me. The new costume is indeed horrible (are those pearl earrings? lol) but everything else sounds like gold!
Madelyne Goblin Queen look is flaweless. And you do not mess with 80s underboobs realness. You just don't.

Psylocke didn't need redemption in his book, though. She even got more morally grey during the run.
I don't know about Greycrow though. I'll be honest I haven't finished the run (I read it in the HoX/RoX/DoX tps and I cannot buy them right now), so I'll take your word for it.
I been enjoying what wells is doing on spiderman but then i am not up to date on any of the ben stuff or the mary jane stuff so maybe that's a good thing. I'm only really reading amazing right now and it's the first time i've read spidey in a long time besides spiderman and the xmen. I'm also liking that based on the cast this may as some are implying be the way for him to wrap up his direction in Maddie's i guess "redemption" (i don't really think she needs it except where cable is concerned but i digress)from Hellions. He got to bring her back but now he gets to maybe show us where he saw her arc going and what that mirror scene really meant.
Don't let anyone else hold the candle that lights the way to your future because only you can sustain the flame.

It's a good thing.
spoilers:end of spoilers He is a new addition to the spider rouges.
The Beyond era(Wells was main writer in a team of writers) that preceded Wells current run was a set up to show how Ben Reilly went from working as Spider-man(sponsored by Beyond corp) and living with his love Janine to getting his memories tampered with by Beyond. Devoloping mental health problems due to the tampering. Devolving into a a person who had no perception of self anymore. Attacking Peter. Falling into "reality altering goop". Leaving Janine and proclaiming himself Chasm. Akin to the chasm that exists where his personaility used to exist. Judging from any official communication, interviews and marketting he will not return to being a hero.
So if Maddie recieves any version of redemption in this it will put her and Ben on diverging paths.

Krakoa, Arakko, and Otherworld forever!
It's not released yet, that would be ASM#9.
Hellions itself had Madelyne being unapolegetic evil, and what I saw of Wells' stuff has characters becoming corrupted more often than them redeeming themselves.
It's not impossible, but I find it unlikely he'll be redeeming her.
Man Madelyne redeeming herself here would be ironic, 'cause Beyond had Ben wanting to be a hero, and then he becomes a villain, meanwhile, Hellions had Madelyne being evil and liking it (And implied to continue being evil as its end), this story making her not be evil anymore would make their character development really ironic.
If that happens, I do wonder if her not being evil anymore is as half assed as Ben becoming evil lol.
I think I know why they got rid of her underboob costume. The 80s Goblin Queen was a character that was meant to me killed off. Madelyne has been permanently resurrected and she is now queen of Limbo. Giving her stuff like a bone collar or a crown make her look like the beautiful but creepy sorceress that she is.
Also, a big problem with Claremont back in those days is he seemed to think a woman tsming her clothes off somehow made her powerful.
Marvel has revealed the cover of Dark Web Alpha #1. It's the same spread from yesterday but in HQ.

Jean Grey in the words of Walt Whitman, from his masterpiece Leaves of Grass, "Song of Myself" (51 and 52):
"Do I contradict myself? Very well then I contradict myself, (I am large, I contain multitudes.)"
"Failing to fetch me at first keep encouraged, Missing me one place search another, I stop somewhere waiting for you."
