    Justice League
The Earth's first line of defense against worldwide threats and crisis.
As they are some of the busiest heroes around, the line-up would be big and rotate depending on mission.
Cast: Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Aquaman, Mera, Flash (Barry), John Stewart, Jessica Cruz, Hawkgirl, Zatanna, Martian Manhunter.

    Justice Society
The keepers of the superhero legacy. The older generation of heroes using their knowledge and experience to prevent new threats and to train the next generation of heroes.
    Cast:
1st gen: Flash, Green Lantern, Wildcat, Hawkman, Hawkwoman, Doctor Fate (Kent), Liberty Belle (Libby)
2nd gen: Power Girl, Mister Terrific, Jade, Obsidian, Hour Man, Jesse Quick, Wildcat II etc
3rd gen: Stargirl, Cyclone, Jakeem, Fate (Khalid) etc

    Titans
Much more approachable than the League, but equally as powerful, the Titans are always on call to save citizens from danger, wherever they may be.
Cast: Nightwing, Donna Troy, Flash (Wally), Cyborg, Starfire, Raven, Changeling, Bunker, Argent and Tempest.

    Young Justice
Former teenage sidekicks, the YJ are now young adults building their own super-hero careers and identities. But whenever they need help with a mission, they always have each other for support. Less of a formal team, more a network of friends.
    Cast:
Tim Drake aka Radar: expert detective using tech to enhance his senses.
Conner Kent aka Supernova: back in Hawaii, his mission is to fight organizations using science for evil.
Cassie Sandsmark aka Fury: descendant of Olympian gods defending humans from their meddling.
Bart Allen aka Impulse: speedster specialized in dealing with time travel.
+ Empress, Kaldur, Miss Martian, Blue Beetle, Wonder Twins, Solstice, Naomi, Aquagirl etc

    WONDER WOMAN

    Wonder Woman
Gateway City has literally become a doorway to the mystical and fantastical, leading Diana to reclaim it as her base of operations.
But the outside world also needs her attention, so she will take all the help she can get to continue her mission of peace.
Cast: Diana, Etta (a fun version), Steve, Siegfried, Cheetah, Giganta, Julia Kapatelis + guest appearances from Queen Nubia, Donna, Cassie and the other Amazons.

    Sensation Comics
The book about the united Amazon nation. Led by Nubia, but starring key members from all three tribes. A book about fantastical societies trying to make a difference in the real world.
Cast: Queen Nubia, Faruka, Artemis, Phillipus, the Esquecida, Hippolyta and the new Amazons.
Diana would also have a big recurring presence as the champion of all Amazons.

    Wonder Girl
Yara is trying to make a name for herself as the new Wonder Girl. Operating in South America, she has to face both political unrest and mythological monsters to protect her homeland in the Amazon forest.
But when the Olympian gods can't seem to leave her alone, she might have to ask for help from former Wonder Girl Cassie Sandsmark (Fury).
Cast: Yara, Potira, Cassie and the Esquecida tribe.

    SUPERMAN

    Superman
Clark Kent has been through it all. But having gotten kid Jon back and been inspired by the timetraveling older Jon, he feels even more motivated to be the best and biggest hero he can be.
It's time to fight the biggest menaces and go on the boldest adventures as Earth's greatest hero.
Cast: Superman, Lois Lane, Jon Kent (10-12 years old), Steel, Lana Lang, Jimmy Olsen.

    Action Comics
Superman has inspired more than his share of heroes, and they're all over the world. When a job gets too big for only one Super, the SuperSquad takes action.
A team-up for Supers, starring Superman and his severely ignored family.
    - Steel and Lana: based in Smallville, they're helping people get better lives through technology.
    - Sentinel (Natasha): the resident tech hero in Metropolis.
    - Seraph (Linda Danvers): the supernatural expert of the Superfamily, based in Leesburg.
    - Supernova (Conner Kent): based in Hawaii, facing corporations misusing science.
    - Super-Qi (Kenan Kong): Super-man of China, trying to bring balance to the world.
    - Supergirl (see below).

    Supergirl
Kara Zor-El knows better than anyone the pain of losing Krypton. So with New Krypton is in its infancy, she feels it is her duty to help protect this new society. Sadly, United Planets politics can make that quite the challenge. When the UP's own elite guard the United Order turns out to be a big failure, old frenemy Vril Dox starts his play to make the L.E.G.I.O.N. the official protectors of UP territory and he wants Supergirl to to join him.
Cast: Kara, Vril Dox, L.E.G.I.O.N. (Strata, Stealth, Lobo, Wildstar etc)

    Legion of Super-Heroes
Older Jon Kent is the refugee of a lost timeline only he fully remembers. When it becomes clear that staying in the present will lead to bad domino effects, he travels to the 31st century to check on his Legion friends.
What he discovers is that the legacy of his father's work has had bigger ramification than even he thought possible. The classic Legion is back and now Jon will learn from them what it means to be the Superman of Tomorrow.
Cast: Too many to mention, but basically the Levitz Legion with later additions like Gates, XS and Kid Quantum.

    GREEN LANTERNS

    Green Lanterns
Starring Hal Jordan and Jessica Cruz as the Green Lanterns of Sector 28.14.
While the GLC book would be more cosmic, this one would be a literally more down-to-Earth take.
Co-starring Carol Ferris (Star Sapphire) and other GLs.

    Green Lantern Corps
A book about the larger Corps dealing with threats that go beyond sector limits. Kyle would be the lead, but Jo would get a big role as Corps detective and the book would have a large rotating cast of lanterns.
Starring Kyle Rayner, Jo Mullein, Kilowog, Guy Gardner, Arisia, Yolande etc.

    Emerald Knight
John Stewart's solo, exploring his new role as Emeral Knight and building new corners of DC's cosmic side by introducing the Dark Sectors, as teased in the last GL run.
Cast: John Stewart and the Emerald Knights.
    This. All of it.

    Superman
Action Comics (starring a team of 'supers' including Superboy, Supergirl, Steel and anyone else running around wearing the Superman logo
World's Finest (a team-up always featuring either Superman or Batman teamed with another hero or team
Power Girl (set on Earth 2)

JLA (with lineup changing per arc -- similar to the satellite era days)
JSA (set on Earth 2 -- and rebooting slightly so that the GA characters never age beyond 40s or 50s). Include mix of original members and legacy members.
JLDark (core team of Zatanna, Demon, Phantom Stranger, Spectre with mix of part time members -- Black Orchid, Enchantress, Lilith (of Teen Titans), Blue Devil, Constantine, etc.

Legion of Super-Heroes (bring back the classic version -- but introduce a mix of diverse and alien looking members to replace some classic members who will semi-retire).
    Teen Titans

    Flash
Hawkman & Hawkwoman (as a married couple)
    Firestorm
    Aquaman
    Green Lantern

    Wonder Woman
Amazons (Donna Troy, Cassie, new Wonder Girl, Artemis -- occasional appearances by Lyta Trevor visiting from Earth 2)

I’m thinking along the lines of concepts for book-lines, based off things that the Batman books and other old DC books have done. I’m also thinking of how you should seek to share your best writers among your books, so you might have some of them run on “seasons” rather than being true monthly titles - like they take breaks sometimes to write another book in a mini-series style.

    General outline:

DC All Stars - Just your straight-up solo books headlined by the big guns… but again, grouped as “seasons” so that the artist doesn’t get overworked and so that the writer can write some of the other books. The stories are also set “in the present”.

    Superman
    Wonder Woman
    Green Lantern
    Aquaman
    Flash
    Any-Other-Solo-Hero-Who-Earns-A-Shot-At-The-Big-Time

DC Legends - Comparison to: Legends of the Dark Knight, Batman: Confidential. A line of “tales of the past” series… but ones that can be ambiguously canon, or even retelling of older stories people like from a modern perspective. Also released in “seasons”, but often runs monthly, with new writers coming in and the setting changed every time.

    Adventures of Superman
    Quests of Wonder Woman
    Tales of the Green Lantern
    Sagas of Aquaman
    Flash Facts
DC Legends (catch-all title for anyone else)

DC Showcase - The “family” books… albeit with at least two stories within them, a starring story and a back-up. The starring story *can* just be another one for the solo headline hero, like usual, but another member of the family must have equal showing in their own story or team-up. If successful e enough, may even be a prestige book - either way, the idea is to “force” readers to pick up stories with other characters than the headliners to see if they can succeed, and “move up a level.”

    Action Comics Starring Superman
    Sensational Comics Starring Wonder Woman
    Green Lantern Corps
    Adventure Comics Starring Aquaman
    Flash Family
DC Showcase (catch-all title for anyone else)

DC Brave and the Bold - the team line… and run on a *very* “season”-oriented way, perfectly willing to go on breaks if a writer doesn’t have any ideas yet, needs time, or isn’t moving copies enough to justify it.

    Justice League
    Justice Society
    Legion of Superheroes
    Titans
    Young Justice
Brave and the Bold (You Get it.)
Like action, adventure, rogues, and outlaws? Like anti-heroes, femme fatales, mysteries and thrillers?

I wrote a book with them. Outlaw’s Shadow: A Sherwood Noir. Robin Hood’s evil counterpart, Guy of Gisbourne, is the main character. Feel free to give it a look: https://read.amazon.com/kp/embed?asi...E2PKBNJFH76GQP

"DC comics. A line-up barely alive (except for the titles with Batman).

We can rebuild it. We have the technology. We can make DC better than it was. Better, stronger, faster."

Fewer books. Return Action/Detective back to their anthology formats with the prestige format.

    Action Comics: Superman/ Black Lightning/ Hawkman/ Aquaman

    Detective Comics. Batman/ Robin/ Catwoman/ Nightwing

Adventure Comics. Flash Barry/ Superboy/ Supergirl/ Flash Wally

Plus a focused and curated line of regular format floppies.

I'd rather a line like what Vertigo was in the 1990s. Target audience is adult, creators get to do more outside of the norm material. Sales expectations aren't high, but the work can be collected and have a long shelf life. Some super-heroes would still appear in this line, but it would be open to different genres. Something for those people to read who have had enough of the constant super-hero barrage. Potentially material that will find its way into other media, years from now. The line doesn't have to compete with Batman, because it's offering a true alternative.

This kind of stratification--where there's one high end line for adults, one mainstream line (even if that's mostly Bat content) for the comic shops, one Johnny DC line for younger readers--seems like the perfect approach.

Justice League - Done in the style of the Justice League unlimited cartoon with a huge rotating cast (bi weekly)
Green Arrow and the Outsiders - Ollie forms a more street level team to take care of the stuff that the JL is too busy to deal with
Titans - The catch all for all the various teen characters. Huge cast with some coming and going. Half school half adventures
Titans Spotlight - a book to showcase young characters like Blue Beetle, Wonder Girl, and others in short 1 to 3 issue stories.
Superman (Clark with Jon being de-aged back to the kid version most liked way better anyway)
    Action Comics
Superman Legacy - a double feature each month with Superboy or Supergirl in the lead story with other members of the super family in the 2nd.
    Batman
    Detective Comics
Batman Legacy - same as Action with a double feature with Robin or Batgirl in the lead with others in the 2nd.
    Nightwing
    Wonder Woman
    Aquaman
Green Lantern - Earth based Hal and Jessica
Green Lantern Corps - space based John, Guy, and Jo (Kyle and Simon retire for a while)
    Flash
Legion of Superheroes (NOT the current version)
    Harley Quinn
    Suicide Squad
    Justice Society of America
Shadowpact (all the magic heavy hitters)

21 ongoing with multiple mini series sprinkled in during the year, but done by top talent and not just rookies. Make minis mean something and be important instead of just testing grounds for new writers and artists.

Good thinking with the codenames there, Tim and Conner wouldn't even need to lose their R and S logos. And Fury makes sense as Cassie's new name - it was originally used by Earth-2 Wonder Woman's daughter, and after a post-Crisis origin retcon, she died at some point before Flashpoint. The name has been vacant on Earth-0 since, so it's up for grabs, and Cassie even has the same hair colour as Lyta, so much like Jesse Quick as Liberty Belle, would end up looking pretty much identical to the original. And Cassie is Diana's niece, the closest thing she has to a daughter.

Drive actually sounds decent for Ace West too. We know the kid's into motor mechanics.

Thanks, I love coming up with new identities, because usually I’m not happy with DC’s choices (like calling Ace “Burst”).

My first pick for Tim was Sonar, as a reference to bats’ “radar” ability, but Sonar is already taken and Radar works just as well, though it’s not so commonly associated with bats.
I chose Fury for its legacy aspects and also for her connection with the Olympians (“Fury of the gods”).
