I think Mercury would have preferred if Bling! had been more direct in making her intentions clear, so what I imagine could have happened is that Mercury misunderstood Bling!'s vague messages and perhaps thought she was being made fun of.

dazzler is pretty straight-up a dick hound but I think she'z into a good time with anyone. I feel like her and Lila are like besties in a way that Sage wants to be besties with her because omg Dazzler and Sage's relationship is rife with sexual angst.

Destiny would be quite useful in the pages of Spider-Man as Peter's close family member, as well as Aunt May's BFF. This would give Irene Adler more of a character development outside of the x-verse and into the Spiderverse....
