Default Yor Forger (Spy X Family) versus Masataka Takayanagi (Tenjou Tenge)

Figured that it might be fun to match these fighters up.

Fight takes place in an abandoned stadium set up with a boxing ring, fighters start off in opposite corners.

    Scenario A) Yor is bare-handed.

Scenario B) Yor has her usual spike/thorn weapons.

Can the antiweapon specialist for the Jyuukenbuu hold his own against the Princess of Thorns?

I'm aware Masataka is a bit niche so I'll do some feats either today or tomorrow depending on my schedule.

It has been about 10 years since I read Tenjou Tenge. I'll wait for the feats.

    Alright, Masataka 101.

    Strength/Striking Power
    - Helps Bob kick a car over
    - While in a rage very early on in the series, Punches concrete hard enough to blast a big crater in it.
    - Punches Fu Chi'en across a street and through a metal shop awning.
    - Sends a ki wave from a palm strike through Bob and sends Madoka flying through a door and into a stairwell.
    - Hits Madoka hard enough that the impact of it shatters all the windows around them. Also note him stomping a crater in the concrete ground in the first image. 01 and 02
    - Craters a stone pillar when he hits it out of frustration.
    - Fells a possessed cherry tree with a causal hit.

    Skill/Esoteric Stuff
    - Infuses a chopstick with his ki and uses it to block a punch from a low level metahuman.
    - Parries and shatters Fu Chi'En's blades (which were being used to slice through cars like tofu. Also in this scan he is taking specific action to stop Fu Chi'En from attacking him with lightning ki by destroying his stance.
    - Drops a cup noodle and brings it safely to the floor with a series of kicks without spilling it.
    - Parries a crossbow bolt that has been fired at him at point blank range with a palm strike that not only destroys the bow but also sends the bolt back up and strikes the shooter in the forehead.

    Speed
As a context, most people of consequence are in the region of bullet time and/or have some kind of anime blink speed. By the end of the series, Masataka is capable of battling at the highest level. A very nifty feat is this sequence:

Masataka drops his bag and goes on the attack against the three executives of his brother's group. All three are metahuman, pretty much solid mid tier in the series. You will note as he begins to move, the bag is foot or so in the air. In the time it takes the bag to fall from from that height to about 3 inches from the ground, Masataka has the following exchanges (I have cut some pages of monologue and chess metaphors for brevity but all the major interactions are present):

    01, 02, 03, 04, 05 and 06

Of note, you can see the bag's progression on the third page and Masataka also demonstrates that he has perfected a ki art that allows him to make his body durable enough to bend blades on his skin. After the sixth page, we cut back to the bag and we see it's three inches from the floor but I didn't feel like including that because it's a lot of stuff to take from one sequence.

    Durability
This one is a little tough, he honestly doesn't get hit all that much. However, by the end of the series, Masataka is able to take a sustained beating from Demon Possessed Nagi, the most powerful character in the series. Didn't feel like grabbing a ton of scans for that but there's a lot of it.

He also has a brief fight with his brother Mitsuomi, Mitsuomi is in the top five most physically powerful fighters (for all his striking feats above, Masataka is not in the top five) and he does things like punch explosions away from himself, punch gigantic bulls so hard they literally explode, match fists with Bunshichi who was doing stuff like punching cars and sending them flying over his head when he was younger and less powerful.

Mitsuomi and Masataka are able to trade hits pretty evenly by the end.

But yeah, I think that about covers it. That's a breakdown of the lad.

    He kills Yor.

Hits easily hard enough to hurt her, possibly very badly, is faster (maybe fast enough to blitz) based on the speedfeat, and is clearly tough enough to weather her shots at least for a while. Tougher, I would say, in comparison versus her shots than she would be against his.

Mileage may vary, but without even looking at all of the feats, I'm edging into 10/10 for Masataka.

Yor's durability is a bit of an issue, eh?

Not for a guy who casually takes out a tree that big. ^_^
