Immortal X-Men 5 - SPOILERS

I'm definitely liking Exodus more in this era than I've paid attention to him before. My main selling point for this issue though, was the psychic battle which this issue didn't really delve into which hurt it imo, the choice of continuous flashbacks did nothing for the overall story. I think the deep dive into Exodus was good, but we only needed a few pages to get that point across, the focus of the issue should have been the X-telepaths vs. The Uni-mind.

I get what he was going for but it didn't completely land for me, especially considering the stakes set up in Red and the first issue of AXE. Using most the issue to show how Exodus' past to helped inform the X-telepaths strategy against the Uni-mind, might have made for an overall more enjoyable experience.
