An accidental jump into a Krakoa gate would be a possibility. Maybe Kamala would follow them, not realising that only mutants are supposed to be able to use them... and then "OMG!", she's revealed to have hybrid genetics - both the Inhuman gene AND the X gene. Mister Sinister would LOVE to hear about that.

Why didn't Jean realise who Kamala was without Logan mentioning it? She was clearly reading her mind there, yet she only sensed no ill intent, and not her identity? Also, they could've recognised her as the face of the rescinded anti-teen vigilante law? Kamala should basically be a local celebrity now.

Perhaps Jean did learn who Kamala was but didn't feel that needed to be shared. Like, she didn't want to dox her. The main concern was "Is she threatening to us?" and Jean confirmed she wasn't.

I don't know that this is the case, obviously, but it could be something like that.

Rogue knows who Kamala is. Rogue and Kamala had an encounter in UnCanny Avengers Vol 3 issue #8 when the group was in a town in Connecticut and temporarily mind wiped.

How is that making any difference if he replaces Wolverine? The main problem is how Jean and Rogue were written. Also I am pretty sure Cyclops contacts Kamala later in this book.

Well....Kamala is visiting the Treehouse, home to the X-men and one Cyclops so context being what it is I personally thought Cyclops would have made sense as well. The forced interactions with Jean and Rogue were uneeded.

Maybe I missed Logan's frequent random visits to the Treehouse.

I know this is a real thing, with people writing BTS/One Direction x The Purge fanfics on Wattpad all the time. But I always found it kind of creepy how Kamala writes fanfics about real people. Even worse, she's a total hypocrite. She freaked out when someone wrote a shipping fic about her.

She didn't write that ship fic, but she's still writing about real people, which is my issue. I'm glad that element of her character was slowly phased out tbh.


(She does ship Spider-Man with Captain Marvel, but we don't know if she writes any fanfics about them.)
