    Default Comic Book Script

    Hey guys,

I was wondering if there are any examples of comic book scripts out there somewhere?

Jim Zub posted up his script for the first issue of Skullkickers here. Should give you a pretty basic idea for how some people do it. Though I think Jim now uses this template for Microsoft Word, it keeps everything nice and organized. Ive been using it myself for awhile now.

Id also suggest checking out this comic resources thread. Some helpful tidbits from a few of the artists here.

One thing I was wondering are splash pages usually in the script or is that something the artist does themselves?

Yes, it would be in the script. Even if you didnt say specifically what to draw you would need to account for the page it would take up for pacing purposes.

On the subject of splash pages are they connected to what the reader can expect from the story?
