Given the new movie Prey, predators seem to go to various places to hunt. Let's assume metauniverse abilites. First movie predator equipment.

1. After the Fellowship of the Ring, before they go underground. Of course, hunting a Balrog might be fun for a Predator but I don't think it would work out.

2. Hogwarts - with Harry and gang in mid-adolescence.

Fellowship? Kills everyone but Gandalf. Between optical camouflage and plasma cannon, there's nothing other than MAAAAYBE Gandalf the Grey who can deal with it (would be interesting to see how Gandalf the Grey deals with a surprise attack plasma bolt, but I'm suspicious that it will at least put the hurt on him, as noted here, yes we have discussed this somewhat recently).

Doesn't matter; the quest is screwed at that point.

The Predator won't be hunting for long if he can't use any of his tech/cloak and gets turned into a newt
