Default Anybody find the current Vader comics arc a little ridiculous?

Vader is about to face a corrupt Imperial governor with a sandstorm-creating superweapon with the help of his old friends Kitster, Wald, Sabe, and Ochii (Guy who eventually tries to hunt down Rey for Palpatine) and an old Podracer he's about to use (Although not the same one).

Yeah, I was originally on board with the inclusion of Padme's old body double coming for Vader but all these other old acquaintances showing up again just makes it all feel like a bad piece of fanfiction. On top of that the whole story, like the rest of the Star Wars line unfortunately, has gone on for way too long now. They really need to stop it with the idea that every story needs to be six parts(or more).

Yeah, there's a point when call-backs can be a little too much...

The first arc also had noticeably all the surviving handmaidens, Captain Typho & Ric Olie.

I'm surprised Boss Nass and Jar-Jar didn't show up. As for Panaka, he remained loyal to Palpatine and was killed by Saw Gerrera in the novels I think.

I wonder if we'll ever see Jar-Jar again.

According to the Aftermath novels he becomes a homeless pariah again after the Rebels win because he enabled Palpatine.
