Oh. I was hoping she'd have a team book or something. Aside from that, I'm not sure how to feel about this. I don't know if Wong is funny. And even then, funny people can still struggle hard with Deadpool.

I know nothing about the writer, so it's wait and see for me. I just hope it's going to be another balanced take, rather than another waypool.

The character is at his best when enjoyable and well written black comedy and cartoonish absurdity are mixed with a healthy dose of underlying seriousness. Both his original series and Cable and Deadpool got that aspect right.

    At least in my opinion.

Ok, so I am a tad confused.

I thought Alyssa Wong was joining the X-office and had an X-book announcement coming? Is this THAT?

Is Deadpool under the X-Office? Last I remember, he was under the Spider Office or something.

I’ll reserve judgment until I see more. Deadpool works best when he has someone to bounce off of (*cough*Cable*cough*Logan*cough*).

Doctor Aphra is like a more subdued Star Wars equivalent to Deadpool. Similar personalities.

Kind of disappointing, but at the same time, I’ve never given a Deadpool solo a fair shot so maybe now is the time.

I was hoping for a team book too but I'm happy for Deadpool fans. Maybe he doesn't need to be on X-Force then and someone else can take his spot.

I absolutely hate the character so this is a vehement NO! for me. That is a wicked sick cover, though.
Krakoa and Planet Arakko...TO BE CONTINUED. FOREVER!!! In Al Ewing I Trust.

Yeah this 100%. So many x-characters without homes right now.

Yeah, this was not what I was hoping for, sigh. Plus, not sure now what all the secrecy was about. We've known for ages that Deadpool was going to be associated more with the X-offices after the team-up in Wolverine last arc. Why was it such a big deal to keep it under wraps until now that Wong's book would be a Deadpool title? I don't get it.

But oh well. *Shrugs* Just not for me, is all.

Not what I expected and not interested. But good for her is Marvel is willing to give her big name characters.
