Yours is super cool because of that personal touch and story behind it.

I've never gotten one from an artist directly, so had no choice but to google one. Many others are in the same boat, I'd assume.

Okay, I'll stick with it guys!

At the same convention I also met Mark Bagley in Artist Alley. I didn't have another blank cover with me but he did do this sketch for me...for a reasonable price. He works so fast!

I have a handful I had done at cons over the years, mostly by local artists, I'll post a few more after the contest is over. The Parent Scarlet Sabrina is one of the few I have done by a "name" in the industry.

Similarly, I have a few that I bought at cons. Usually not ones that I commission but ones the artists have pre-done and have available. This includes one that Ken Lashley traded me for three packets of Tim-Tams (an Australian biscuit particularly beloved of American guests at Australian cons). He only asked me for two, but I threw in a third one because he was being so nice. The cover was one he had down some time ago and I was apparently the first person to express an interest in it.

The Belit one I posted is one of my most recent, having been purchased not long before the pandemic.

Not sure how I missed this entire phenomenon. But some of these covers look great. Here you go:

It was done by a British illustrator named Nick Gribbon

It's listed on his online shop for 50 pounds.

I think I have to change my cover, some of these are spectacular.
