Pretty good trailer. Just enough to arouse interest without giving much of the plot away, with the promise of the same focus on action that made Savage Avengers one of Marvel's standout books of the last few years,

Love that this is extending out of strange academy. Don't love that they still don't seem to be establishing the midnight sons mythos. Blade is an OG member but it seems from this, the midnight suns will just be a random assortment of supernatural characters.

i actually don't think this one is supposed to be a direct tie-in. More just some synergy. I think they have two other graphic novels that are directly meant as video game tie-ins (add to the lore of the game and all that).

Oh yeah, I didn't think it was a direct tie-in, but it definitely helps that a game is coming out .

Indeed. Specifically, Doctor Strange and the Sorcerers Supreme, which united Strange with Sorcerers Supreme from past eras, one of them also being a Ghost Rider. That one would be Kushala, who more recently had a Marvel Unlimited series where she manifested in the modern day by possessing her descendant, somewhat akin to the Danny Ketch/Noble Kale iteration of Ghost Rider from the 90s.

You're welcome, and if I recall right, Talisman was in The Last Days of Magic story arc during Jason Aaron's Doctor Strange run --- even though it turned out that, no, those were not the last days of magic.
