    Default Help catching up on Batman and Robin stories

    I recently read Batman Vs Robin Road to War and really liked it.

    I've just started Robin Vol 1 The Lazarus Tournament by Williamson...

    A panel has Bruce described some of the events leading to Damian and Bruce's rift.

    Which trade volumes or issues do the events he describe take place?

    "Alfred, Gotham, Bane, the Joker"

    It's mostly referencing City of Bane.

    I guess the Joker mention meant "Death of the Family" as Damian didn't show up for Joker War. Maybe Williamson forgot/didn't read it, so assumed he was there? Or just wanted to throw in the Joker name to pop the reader.

    Dan Watters' Azrael was incredible, a constant delight and perhaps too good for this world (but not the Forth). For the love of St. Dumas, DC, give us more!!!

    Williamson didn't write this. It was written by Waid.

    Death of the family meant Death of the family.

    Gotham, Alfred and bane is in reference to city of bane and it's fallout. Issues 74 to 83 batman by King

    Alfred and Joker refers to death of the Family arc by issues 16 -17 batman by Snyder.

    Batman and Robin 15 by Tomasi is a tie in to Death of the family that features Damian 2nd time trading wits with the clown prince and further fleshes out the dynamic between Damian and Bruce
