Which is the relation in-story between the Vietnam War and the Siancong War? Has the Vietnam War been erased from history, replaced by the Siancong War, and the specific details may remain or change according to plot needs? Or did both wars take place, but now nobody that cares has any links to the Vietnam war?

Anything actually historical still happened, but Vietnam now falls in the period between World War II and the debut of the Fantastic Four, which started the Marvel Age. So, no superheroes were around for Vietnam - nor for 9/11, which is 21 years ago next month.
The fictional Siancong War is now where any heroes previous said to have served in the Vietnam and Gulf wars have been retconned to.
Presumably, they reintroduced the draft in-universe for the Siancong War, and Flash then later rejoined the army (in his Agent Venom origin, right?) voluntarily.Last edited by Digifiend; 08-22-2022 at 08:48 AM.
