You know, I think the different versions of Eddie are meant to represent the traditional 5 stages of grief.

    1. Eddie Brock > Trauma Event

    2. Finnegan > Denial
    3. Bedlam > Anger
    4. Wilde > Bargaining
    5. Tyro > Resignation
    6. Meridius > Acceptance

    7. Unnamed King in Black 7 > Healing?

Also regarding the structure of this book, I've noticed something interesting: it's laid out in arcs of 5, each one ending with Eddie transitioning into a new form.

Arc 1 (Recursion, issue 1-5): Issue 5 has Eddie Brock land in the Garden of Time, meeting five other versions of him (though he doesn't know this yet).
Arc 2 (Deviation, issue 6-10): Issue 10 has Eddie turn into Finnegan after the trauma of killing his son.
Arc 3 (Demonification, issue 11-15): Issue 15 presumably has Finnegan turn into Bedlam under Pryor's influence.
    Arc 4 (issue 16-20?): Tyro?

If this really is the pattern, we could be looking at a 40-issue run here - 5 issues for each version of Eddie, and then 5 issues to wrap it up.

That does sound like a clever deduction or hypothesis.

Uh-huh, stripped of all his character development and reverted to his old single-minded obsession with killing Spider-Man (and eating his brains).

Could the events in Dark Web lead Eddie to become Belaum?
