I hate how the Batman Joker book actually has an interesting solicit. It's the cutting off Gordon's body part that raise the stake in a simple and effective way.
(hate because the pairing is so basic and I prefer if they use different, non overused character like both of them. Yes yes they sell.)

So Ram with DETECTIVE COMICS 2022 ANNUAL is doing kinda of a tie-in to Morrison's Return of Bruce Wayne?

Anyway, Detective, Black Adam, Teen Justice and Monkey Prince for me.

This month's total: 43 books with a Bat-Character, 27 without. The number with slightly increased, but the number without had a larger increase, so it's evening out a little.

Large month for me. Unfortunately for my wallet, most of the increase are all $5+ books. Going to be hurting in November.

Look, Taylor, just, do slice of life okay. It's clear that you're better at that. I mean when the new villain that's been teased since the beginning get overshadowed by freaking Bitewing Year One...

I am so not interested in Heartless. I used to be interested, but it's just gone now. Bitewing Year One on the other hand is something I'll actually buy, and Nite-Mite is adorable too.

It's clear that you excel in cute so just do cute. Forget the villains. Nightwing has the whole Batfam and Titans on his back no one in Bludhaven is a threat anyway.

So just do a Nightwing Family Adventure. You're already 75% there.

Well it's nice to see a little less Batman, but......

Unfortunately most of the non trinity titles are all heroes and teams Jim Lee created....which is why he has to go.

Your the head of DC to give customers what they want, not to cement your legacy. I like Grifter, but otherwise I could give two squirts about Wildcats and the rest of his creations. They've never really had an impact.

The JSA is nice, but I'd rather have someone other than Geoff Johns on it this time. (Plus it looks like two of my favourite characters are either slated for replacement, or will have to share the spotlight with their legacy hero acting as a mentor....again)

I don't want to sound negative but.....there is nothing for me to really get excited about other than.....dare I say it......Batman!

Wow, I haven't been this excited by DC books in literally years. There's still a shit ton of Batman but there's thankfully a wider variety.

The return of the JSA, a new Blue Beetle mini series, the New Golden Age, Stargirl and the forgotten Golden Age sidekicks, WildCATs, Waller vs Stormwatch!

DC has seemingly been in neutral since Doomsday Clock. So it's great to see the return of classic characters and some change in direction.

Wow I can finally add some DC to my pull list. I’m all over the three Johns books. Maybe Wildcats. Can DC put all the Batman books last so I can save about 45 minutes of scrolling past them?

It's interesting the facsimile offerings are increasing, plus Superman #75 (which might as well be another facsimile edition). My preference is for DC to stick with normal sized Silver and Bronze Age books at $4 rather than fat Golden Age books at $7.
