There you have, Rider fans. HAPPY NOW? Oh, wait,it's Bendis... Damn, I'm sorry for you because the damage to the character can be big.
Honestly, I would prefer not knowing about his fate. Rider had something many other corporate superheroes wish: a complete character evolution and his story ended with him saving the galaxy.
I would say this is overdue, but when has a major detail like this NOT been overdue? Marvel often is willing to gloss over certain details, either because they don't have the space to spare or want to save it for a future story. I'm not a fan of leaving plot-holes, but so long as an explanation comes along at some point, I'm okay with it being overdue...to a point.
