I doubt he'll even finish Winds of Winter, to be honest. Even if he does, no way he finishes A Dream of Spring...if that's actually the last book, there's a decent chance he'll need an 8th one with the amount of plots he has to close.

GRRM did also mention this week that Winds is on track to be the longest book yet, and even fears Penguin might try to break it up. So, Spring might possibly be enough to close it all out (even though Spring itself might possibly sorta be the 8th book

Finally saw the last episode. A lot of talk, talk, talk, leading to a stupid death that will spark a war next season. A season I won't be back for.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
