Except are we to presume everyone past the fight with Beerus, including villains, are doing the same?
Or is it because Goku and Beerus are both gods in that fight and it’s a special circumstance (especially since one is a God of Destruction) that it occurred in the first place. Because Brolly and Lale don’t exactly seem in control to me when Goku fights them.

It was from their physical punches, not aura. This was an explicit thing that I'm not sure how anyone could see it other than a result of the or strength. While PC Supes had to be brought back after being killed by a big bang, and struggles to wiggle his way out of the a minion of Darkseids who could emulate the weight of a galaxy.
As these are the manga versions(not anime); the punch clash was more basic:it simply shook the universe and the kai realm outside of it. Nothing else. Which is still waaaaaaaaaaaaaay above PC Darkseids weight class let alone Supes.
Anime Goku himself explicitly stated he was absorbing the shockwaves into his body, which was why the shockwaves were destroying planets sporadically and not everything in their vicinity. And it makes sense for everyone to not want to bust the universe as that would kinda kill everyone. It's why This and Vados step in to stop the cat twins from fighting as that could destroy both of their universes just by them clashing(and said twins don't care). As it is; the clashes between Broly and Gogeta were shattering dimensional barriers, sending them into this weird dimensional space for a short time of their fight before Broly and Gogeta blew their way out of said dimension.
Meanwhile, we also had a monster during ToP also punching holes through the dimension in what was explained by the kais as through pure physical strength(not through magic like Janemba, nor did the tourny take place in an earth sized pocket dimension but a space as big as a universe), and it was weak enough for an SSG to contend with.
So yeah, PC Supes isn't hurting anyone here.
Their auras are up and engaged in those scenes posted earlier, so no, it’s not just their punches.
The clash between Beerus and his brother is actually a prime point that this is probably (and makes the most sense) an effect of fighting a God of Destruction. Because remember, Hakai is not like normal energy. A finger poke and Beerus can atomize a planet with it, and it barely takes any energy at all to summon.
As to punching into dimensions, Superboy Prime (who is weaker than PC Superman IIRC) did that too on pure strength (the old Retcon Punch!) just like Brolly, Gogeta, and Jiren manage to do.
So again, if SBP can do that and it’s a similar feat……..

Their auras are always on. It has nothing to do with their physical attacks, never has. It doesn't change the fact that it was pure physical strength. So yes, it was just their punches. They do use their ki to enhance their physical attacks, but it's not like they send ki attacks out of their punches outside of some special attack(like dragon fist). Now of this were Saint Seiya on the other hand...
While again, since this is the manga versions we are talking about the event was simpler: in just shook the universe and the kaioshin realm outside of it.
If that were the case then they would actually say "hakai". There is a difference between them erasing something, and their raw power.
He is not. His very first introduction was in PC, and he was comparable to the PC Kryptonians of the time while being immune to red sunlight. When he came back he varied so wildly that he goes from weaker to stronger than a PC Kryptonian on a panel to panel basis via the power of crud writing. As to punching into dimensions, Superboy Prime (who is weaker than PC Superman IIRC)
Nope. He was punching a specific crystal wall containing the dimension. It wasn't just from the effect of pure strength, but what he was punching.did that too on pure strength (the old Retcon Punch!) just like Brolly, Gogeta, and Jiren manage to do.
