Well, if there is a mutant Civil War aka another Schism, we already have three titles for each side, with the Marauders caught in the middle sort of beholden to the Hellfire Trading Company but do we really want to go down that route again?

Perhaps not a full blown civil war but maybe this council decision will be the straw that breaks the camel's back, so to speak. They're trying what seems to be the longer route based on Jean and Scott's conversation as shown in the Gala one-shot...

...but maybe it's time for the "tough" route.

If this is indeed the case, then perhaps the timing of the upcoming hero-focused Immortal issues is connected. This may not be where Gillen is going at all but if there's somewhat of a mutiny taking place, issues focused on Nightcrawler, Pryde, Storm, and Peter would be all the more interesting.

    OK issue.

    >Good art. The arctic battle and fake detonation were impressive.
    >Judgements were interesting. Kro getting the thumbs up was perfect. 616 Cap getting the thumbs down was also perfect.
    >Ikaris is a BEAST!
    >Gods, Stark is insufferable. I almost prefer Druig.
    >I can't wait for the X-Men to attack Uranos once he inevitably gets loose. Will they win? Maybe not but it'll be one hell of a fight!
    >Starfox a la Desire of the Endless? Perfect.

    Favourite panels...

There was absolutely no indication even remotely than Exodus and Hope were helping.

Why would there be? They're telepaths. They don't have to be shown on page backing Emma up in the middle of a fight, or is this what comics have dumbed down to being about?

I guess you didn’t read the issue properly. There is no remote indication yet Exodus states it in clear words that he is helping.

Interesting that the Deviants can cross the Krakoan gates but guys like Spider-man, the FF or Hulk can't... I thought all super-humans had Deviant DNA, but this makes me doubt again if that's true...

Is double interesting since Hulk, the FF and Spidey are...kind tied to bigger cosmic mystical things.

There are other mutates who aren't tied to any cosmic or mystic entity, and they can't enter... Rhino, Sandman, Electro, Photon, the Lizard, Morbius, Quake, Bonita Juarez, Jack Frost, Equinox, Will-o-the-Wisp, Carrion, Angar the Screamer... etc. I mean, we don't have confirmation that they can't enter, but at least some mutate villains and heroes should have tried to cross the gates, and if they could, we would know by now...

We were told that mutants and mutates get their powers from Deviant DNA, and we have seen that Deviants can cross the gates due to their DNA being close enough to mutants', so... why can't mutates do it, if they share Deviant DNA too...?

Maybe mutates and mutants inherited different strains of Deviant DNA? Like mutants get Deviant DNA in their 23rd chromosome, while mutates get it in their 21st chromosome, and the gates are programmed to only open for people with Deviant DNA in their 23rd chromosome...?

Aside from the ineffable Jean Grey, did any other X-Man/Woman solo any of the Hex, yet?

Anyone working on the #4 review/spoiler thread by chance? If not I'll be happy to do it, just don't want to step on anyone's toes.

Just read it, but I don’t have time to post a review (busy day at work right now) so I say go for it.
