Mahomes highlight reel continues to grow. This one has folks calling him a Wizard.

Watched highlights of Lions vs. Seahawks last night where Detroit gave up 48 points to a Seattle team that’s supposed to be one of the worst in the league while making Geno Smith look like Russell Wilson. Yo, WBE, you gotta have Dan Campbell on your head coach hot seat list after yesterday’s debacle.

Not sure it came across in the highlights but the Lions played their asses off.

They're 1-3, which is traditional Lions. But if you watch the tape, these guys are playing their asses off for Dan Campbell. They do seem like they're motivated more.

Their defense is a problem, though. It will be hard to win anything when you're giving up 30 PPG, and 550 yards of offense to anyone.

And if they hadn’t, Geno Smith might’ve lit them up for 80. Effort doesn’t mean squat if you don’t have the talent and/or the right scheme on defense.

1-3 Detroit leads the league in passing, rushing and points. It's astounding how this franchise finds new lows.

They have not ruled out Tua for next week. This is insane. Let him rest a week, that would give 17 days off since last Thurs. They are playing the Jets, so Bridgewater should be able to handle it. He can return for the Vikings the following week.
Tua's health is more important than one game, or even the season.

Update. Tua will sit out this week. Good

I did like that Brady post game had a nice moment with Mahomes. It showed the 2 having a respect moment. Which its said Brady hates losing but he also has really been good with Mahomes. They shared a Madden cover last season together. After Mahomes tough 1st AFC Championship loss ; Brady made a point to go to the locker room and talk to him. Mahomes claimed his words made him really work harder.

Its a shame the league won't have Brady vs Mahomes for a few more years. The 2 men always seem to have these classic games which go down to the wire at times.

Tua was never going to play this week, this was just the usual cloak and dagger nonsense by head coaches to keep upcoming opponents from game planning for one quarterback or another.

Broncos RB Javonte Williams done for the year with a torn ACL.

Falcons RB Coradelle Patterson has procedure on his knee and on IR, but expected to return.

Colts have ruled 2 defenders out (Shaquille Leonard and Tyquan Lewis) due to concussion concerns (before they were even evaluated and they will not play even if cleared) for Thursday night, and RB Jonathan Taylor is questionable for Thursday because of an ankle injury he sustained in Sunday's game.

On a more positive note, Commanders rookie RB Brian Robinson will be activated from the NFI as he recovers form two gunshot wounds sustained in the preseason.

And any Panther fans (foolishly) hoping Sam Darnold might be some relief from the Baker Mayfield nightmare, reports are that even though Darnold is eligible to return next week, he is nowhere near close to being read to be able to play.

Also, former Ravens CB Jimmy Smith is formally announcing his retirement after being out of football for a bit now.

Doesn’t matter. Miami could be playing a Division II college team and still worry about being game planned. You’ve been around the block long enough to know how obsessed head coaches are when it comes to keep opponents in the dark.

Yeah, I think they had to come out and declare it now because of the misstep with the game against the Bills.
The good thing for the Phins is Teddy gets all the reps going into Sunday. So maybe he won't throw those INTs.

I see I was right about the Titans defeating the Colts since Henry had a good game including running for a td, and Tannehill did make fewer mistakes than Ryan since the Titan's defense created 2 turnovers. The Titans defeated the Colts 24-17.
I'm happy my Titans have won 2 consecutive games after the 0-2 start however the Titans not scoring many points in the 2nd half is a flaw they need to fix for them to win a high amount of games.

I see the Jaguars couldn't deal successfully with the rain when they played the Eagles, and I was proven right about the Jaguars seeing the hard reality which is they failed to defeat a full-strength playing great Eagles team.
The Jaguars collapsed after they lead 14-0 mainly because the Eagles won the turnover battle, Hurts was protected for a high amount of the game, and the Jaguar's defense couldn't contain Brown and the other Eagle's offensive weapons.

The Steeler's offense with Pickett as the QB including he did run into the end zone for a td. He had the normal growing pains of an NFL Rookie QB so it's not surprising that he threw 3 interceptions.
A good game for Wilson in his first start this year including the Jets scored a TD late in the 4th Quarter to take the lead.
The Jets did defeat the Steelers 20-17 in a close entertaining game. The Jets defeated a rebuilding Steelers team, and the Jets haven't won 2 consecutive games this season.
2 reasons why I think most Jets fans won't overreact that the Jets are a good team after the Jets defeated the Steelers 20-17 in a coin flip game.
