    That ending was lame.

So - all everyone needs to do is wait for their Celestial judgement and tell it they don't recognize its authority? And defer their judgement to another person who has vested interest in everyone surviving judgement? (spoiler: that's everyone).

That's the event everyone; call it a day.

Judgement Day is starting to feel like the Axis of IvX events.

I don't think that would work for every person, not everyone is Cyclops.

Agreed that the reason for the pass for Cyclops was stupid but honestly I knew Cyke would get the thumbs up so the. X-Office could show that even the Celestials know that Cyclops was right.

That's not the vibe I got really. It seems like it's been judging people according to specific standards that have to do with them and by the standards for Cyclops that was a pass for him. I imagine we will get more of a sense of what the logic behind the judgements is as time goes on.

Yeap. None of it was 'real' last issue.

X-Men #14 was a solid read. I enjoyed Iceman's moment the most. But I'm more interested in the next issue with the vault.

Been lookin' forward to this all day! Ever since seeing that Iceman preview image from this week's X-Men Monday, which was PURE AWESOMENESS!! Had no idea it was gonna be a Bobby focus issue, though, so let's dig in to see what Duggs is bringin'.

"No more holding back." -- ICEMAN... I like it already!

"Gay mutant hero"... does it really matter to the story?
Why, YES... yes IT FUCKING DOES... *******!

Scott with his eye-blast, trick pool shot... again, he IS... the MAN!! Even 'Yana's impressed. He's just got it all, and we must worship him accordingly.

They relay the solar flare emergency from the previews to Jean, who then jampacks it into Bobby's brain & TK's him into orbit, where he promptly begins to create a massive ice shield to protect earth & its people. Firestar gets put on debris prevention & portals to the predominant part of impact, the US Midwest.

Forge bein' a smarty, in all respects.

Cue that beautiful image of Bobby speedskatin' across the ether, like a boss-man on a mission. Gravity's kickin' in, though, and he's workin' against the clock. He continues to be self-deprecating, as usual, while provoking Magik to rescue a space crew in the line of fire. Everybody's safe on the ground as the sun's flames reach him, and he just... falls apart.

Angelica tries her best but can't handle the boulders of hail all by herself, so Synch & Rogue circuit w/Jean to add some much-needed aid.

Meanwhile, Bobby & his now temporarily mutilated Ice-form tackle the neXt fiery wave successfully, before inadvertnantly beginning a freefall skydive back to the mudball below. He tells Firestar to be on the lookout for a...

"... handsome angel, falling" from the sky! He looks so peaceful...

and HE'S RIGHT, the HANDSOMEST earth angel ya ever done see, rainbow & all!!! *sigh* How can anybody not love this character?!

Especially after that data page with his heartfelt article eXcerpt. Oh, Bobby, you truly are the bestest... and make everything better, just by being.

Last but certainly not least, Cyclops confronts 'Judgement' on his own terms, as he would AND... gets a thumbs up! A li'l cheesy, but I think it works well enough. I mean, it's Scott, the "BIG STICK"... *swinger* himself, so...

All in all, a noticeable improvement over the previous, initial installment, I thought. This may even help lift that, when taken together as a whole.

Speaking of the boys of Summer, though, if only AleX had been waitin' for Bobby when he got back...

So, we had Polaris running around with a coffee mug all the time.
This time it’s Forge drinking and eating in every issue?

And I wouldn’t mind if Duggan stops recycling that enemy of the day style of writing. It feels like I read it already multiple times how the team reacts, engages, and fights off an enemy or a catastrophe.

I'm very much looking forward to the return of the Children. Having Havok in action against them would be helpful so hopefully he's around.

Oh Bobby, you and me, we never had luck with woman. They ran away, went crazy, have been killed, or ran away when they became crazy which got them killed. I was always angry at you, but now I understand that deep within my heart I felt nothing but love for you.

Oh Alex, I’ve been waiting so long for you to say this. Please fill me up with your plasma, and I will give you a 15 inch popsicle…

It's taken 14 issues with Synch on the team for someone to draw Synch's rainbow aura only for it to be an actual rainbow and have nothing to do with Synch himself...

Anyway this was a fun issue, if a bit slight.
