Ok. So Scott's 'only my wife can judge me' speech isn't what swayed the judgement his way since simply rejecting the judgement does not work. The Celestial was always going to give him the thumbs up and just decided not to bother with an explanation.

Destiny is shown a failure because she doesn't live to the ideals that she professes; for a woman who believes that there is no fixed future, she truly believes the exact opposite. So Scott was probably deemed fair, due to the fact that he probably lives up to the values that he set for himself.

I saw only "X-Men #6" and thought X-Men (Red) #6 preview...imagine my disappointment. LOL
