Every x-men villain is just a future X-man waiting for the right author to plaster things over their previous crimes.

Like there’s a point where we are actually going to in-universe hit Freudian Excuse is No Excuse. Or in the case of some X-villains on the island, No Excuse is an Excuse

It’s judging all of Earths inhabitants. It judged Cap in #3 of Judgement Day

There's some story potential there.

A group of people who got judged 'worthy' getting all hopped up on their 'righteousness' and running around and killing people who are not worthy and 'bringing us all down and risking the destruction of the entire planet! We need to purge the unworthy for the survival of the planet!' And then there will be the inevitable yobs who either haven't been judged yet, or got the thumbs down, but kept it on the DL and lied and said they'd been found worthy, and are along for the ride, hoping that if they help kill enough other unworthies, it will balance out and the world (and they!) will get to go on living.

A group of people judged 'unworthy' who just say to heck with it, and start causing chaos, burning and looting, because what even matters? Some might even commit suicide. Others would want to burn it all down and cut loose, because they've already been told straight up that they are no good, so why even bother holding back? Cosmic space-god just *gave them permission* to be their worst selves!

Just, mass chaos. 'Cause, people! Half of whom have been told, 'You're totally right!' and the other half have been told, 'You're a big failure!'
