there haven't been. the whole quote by Xavier saying that this is tempo's era at the beginning of x-men adds weight to this new era where we see her on a team of lets face it- derivatives starring as their own solid characters. same for her. she controls time. that could easily be subbed out for the weather.

I personally think she looks regal, like a knight at court with the hemet! the helmet is the best part! play up the cogs and Time pieces built into the top go her helmet. she looks like a knight at court!

@thread - I am loving Tempo in Marauders. For me she would never mean as much to me as Storm, Betsy, Rogue, Emma, Magik, PoPo or Jean, but I do want to see her star continue to rise.

I liked Tempo's scene the most in this week's Marauders. It's made me want to go back and find the altercation she mentioned, and now I'm curious about what possible other times she played with time.

im just sayin, Storm isn't even Storm anymore, she's the Queen of Space. she transcended being Storm a while ago. there are already characters that walk in the iconic direction of other characters, why not tell a new story of a powerful, terrestrial black elemental character because that's what the franchise does. how many redheads? how many claw people? how many masters of magnetism? this is a theme.
