Dark Web not touching X-ongoings, Dark Web: X-Men mini announced

Now that I know who the writer and artist are...I'm torn.
I trust Duggreis to tell a good story (eventhough he's doing my Goblin Queen dirty), I'm just never interested in anything Spiderman.

That's why i am saying i'm not closing the door. That reis art is hard to pass on and he usually adds diversity even if it's in "extras" so that's why i got to see inside before i decide on this one. lol

And while Duggan can tell a good story Savage Avengers has been hit and miss i think the last time i read it was months ago.

I usually feel the same about Spidey and normally this wouldn't interest me, but the connections between Madelyne and Scott, Jean, Alex, and now Illyana... I'm gonna have to check it out.

I wouldn't hold your breath for Synch or Forge to have a big role here given that every other member of the team has a strong connection to Maddy or to Spidey. But hopefully that means those two will have more spotlight in the main book -- the solicits we have so far are Vault and Forge focused so would be annoyed if Synch & Forge aren't done well there.

Had a feeling Duggan would be writing it. Anytime there's an event, he is always the guy to be writing a tie in to it (take a look at King in Black and Dark Reign for example).
I also feel he is a solid writer. Not a favourite, but I'm kind of hoping X-Men becomes his big moment, he deserves it after all.
(I'm actually reading his Savage Avengers at the moment and I'm surprised by how good it is).

Duggan's run on SAVAGE AVENGERS ended a while ago. The current volume is a new creative team.
