If they're bringing back the main cast (minus those who left because of pay disputes) I guess that means it's still going to be Riley?

Isn't anxiety more of a state of mind than an emotion...

The first film was a smash hit. A blockbuster. So maybe the sequel will be another hit. A lot of Pixar sequels were successful like Toy Story 3 and 4, Incredibles 2 and Finding Dory, all of which reached over the $1 billion-mark each.

But then given the strike, so maybe the sequel will flop.

    Strike is over.

Inside Out is probably my favorite CGI-animated movie. I hope they don't ruin it by trying to milk it.

Looks like a fun follow-up to the first movie .

    Envy is so cute.

Huh, so the new motions end up playing the "villain" because they think they're doing what Riley needs and abandoning her old emotions.

    The parents' emotions return!

The human animation is leaps and bound from the first movie.

Nice to see the other emotions are all working together on this one instead of just Joy and Sadness.

It is sad that Disney is not making new original movies that aren't based on another source material since Wish flopped and Elemental came close to being a flop.

I would love to see the new film Elio.

    Wish flopped.

    Elemental did not.

    That narrative needs to die.

It became a sleeper hit and did numbers a lot of Pixar movies did not.

Yeah a lot of Pixar movies like Soul, Luca, Onward, Turning Red, and the Good Dinosaur, all of which were original films without ties to another source material. But most of those except the Good Dinosaur came out during the Covid pandemic. So it is understandable they flopped.

Elio may be new, but It was already in production before both Wish and Elemental were out in theaters.
