She also said she loves plants in the film! The female AIM agent (played by Stephanie Szostak) who battles Tony to the death midway through the film is named Ellen Brandt, who is best known to comics fans as Man-Thing's treacherous wife. The character even has the scar on her face she received fighting Man-Thing in the comics!

I'm stoked by what I saw, especially the blink and you miss it Man-Thing cameo.

The campy nostalgia is strong here. Wish that we could have an actual horror film out of the franchise, though. Disney always loves to "balance" serious stuff with humor to keep the edge off.
Oh well. As long as no one turns to the camera and narrates some stupid joke, I'm ok with that. I'll just have a backup plan of watching a real horror film afterwards.
Every day is a gift, not a given right.
I am not seeing why people are getting so wrapped up regarding a split-second quasi-cameo of Man Thing. There's no guarantee that the portrayal will be anything beyond what is seen in that glimpse, or if it will be seen at all. (remember the misleading footage from Avengers Infinity War)?
So we'll just have to see when the special comes out. But I wouldn't be holding my breath regarding seeing some full blown extended origin of Man Thing which I suppose is what a lot of those geeking out want to see. I think the character is worthy of its own special, heck, maybe next year? Who knows.
Re-watching the trailer... I'm getting the vibe that they may just be playing a live action version of the game Werewolf in the beginning.
You know this game https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/...imate-werewolf
One of us is a monster, find out which, the same premise; plus the there's a Zombie that looks like an animatronic that the "Monster Hunters" aren't attacking giving a lame pun about "Rotting for them."

Context is king.
X-23's most basic surface level characteristic that any idiot should grasp: Stoicism.
I don't demand that her every minor appearance be a nuance in-depth examination of her character, but is it to much to ask she be written in Archetype?! This is storytelling 101! If you want people to stay invested in a character, you need to, at the bare minimum, write them such a way that they can plausibly be believed to be the same character!
Early reviews are in, and they are positive.
Also, I had no idea that Michael Giacchino is directing this.
After watching a documentary about famous Man-Wolves like 18th Century beast of Gevaudan and a werewolf in Cologne in 15 th Century and the Beast of Bray Road I am really Looking forward to the Halloween special. Hope they include Moon Knight next year
