Speaking of Strange Academy, Strange's position as Sorcerer Supreme of Earth has me thinking. I'd like to see some exploration of Arakko's history with magic. There's got to be some knowledge of magic among the Arakkii....after all, Apocalypse's knowledge of magic seems to predate the fall of Okkara, and between Externals like Saul and Selene, and other ancient mutants who know magic like Azazel....it's a stretch to think that when Arakko first went into the rift to Amenth, none of its inhabitants had any kind of magical know-how. Plus, Genesis talked of mutant alchemists and engineers raising the ten towers that protected Arakko for millennia, which suggests they weren't just using mutant powers to do that, but mutant magic as well.

All of which has me wondering....could there be a mutant Sorcerer Supreme of Arakko? And if not currently, maybe at some point in the not so distant future?

The impression I got from XoS was that the Summoners were the magic users of Arakko but Amenth corrupted their magic.

I could see it, but that still implies that there was pre-Amenthi magic in their culture, y'know? So it makes sense that outside of the Summoning Schools, there haven't been any Arakkii mages in a long time, but could be really interesting to at some point have some Arakkii 'rediscover' their own lost history of magic and claim the Sorcerer Supreme title for their planet.

Tarot for sure should have learned some by now but Marvel never uses The (original) Hellions.

Forge has utilized certain magics but Marvel has forgotten this.

Hybrid (James Marks) knows Dire Wraith magic.

Nekra knows voodoo magics and Cult of Kali magics.

Good call... But, I'm fairly sure not many here even know who James Marks is either

BobbysWorld, I like your idea a lot. There's so much lore to explore with the Arakki and I can totally see magic being a big component. When •-[A]-• returns he could definitely vie for the mantle.

Northstar - they've implied numerous times that he has some sort of faerie/elf/magical blood in him, hence the pointy ears.

His sister Aurora as well then - and Gloriana, aka Meggan Braddock.

What magic does Rictor do? I've picked up a few issues of Excalibur and also Knights. It's probably me but I don't understand what magic he's doing and what he's done with it.

He's a druid. Earth elemental (which fits his earthquake mutant power).
