There may be some confusion between Avengers 219 with Moondragon and Thor and the Blood and Thunder storyline when (iirc) Moondragon had the mind gem. Part of that I believe was Thor's fractured psyche.

I agree. I was just looking at scans of Avengers #220, and there is no visual evidence of the Mind Gem. That story took place sometime between Marvel Two-in-One Annual #2 and Thanos Quest #2, so the Mind Gem was likely in the possession of the Grandmaster at that time.

However, I think that her simultaneous mind control of Thor and a planet full of sentients is an outlier for Moondragon and not a valid feat. She never displayed a comparable feat before or after that time, especially during her string of appearances in Defenders.

I agree the feat with Moondragon in Avg's 219 is a career highlight. However, with the mind gem, she zorched Charles pretty good in Infinity Crusade. I personally don't have a problem with Moondragon's feat in Avg's 219.

I mean, if gem-less Moondragon can drag Strange into a "falls unconscious shortly after her" mind fight (which yes, she was herself mind controlled into doing by a Thanos/Charles Xavier clone fusion, but then again she later controlled the mind of said clone when the chance for retribution came, so, not exactly shameful), I view her solidly fine on that Charles Xavier planetary scale telepath place.

So she's controlling an entire planet...plus the Avengers...plus Thor.

Between her smearing Xavier (did she have the Mind Gem when she casually kicked Chuck's rear?) and having one hell of a match against Strange (whose mind is closed to Xavier), plus casually controlling entire planets PLUS Avengers PLUS Thor (who is supposed to be at least difficult to control), I'm pretty happy with her being Xavier+.

Not that Handbooks are a thing we use here, but ISTR the Handbook explicitly stating that she was significantly stronger than Chaz. This isn't to pass as a feat, just that, at least the people writing the handbooks agreed with the idea that she was Chaz+.

Her best feats are definitely up there. Though, like everyone else who has a fair number of feats, there are good and bad days for her.
