A bit weird to see Grandmaster watching movie in a theatre.

Anyway, another solid issue. Only thing that I didn't like was talking motherbox.

The ones from 1st issue special, naturally. I wonder why the Green Team is so obbsesed with them.
Yeah, I think that Danger Street is Black Label, like almost all the DC books that King had written after leaving Batman.

Ingenious, King is using the Helmet of Fate as a talking bookend

Another great issue, really enjoying this and seeing all the pieces move on the board. Kinda wish it would come together a little more quickly, but that's a minor nitpick for me because the stories within the story are all awesome.

One small-ish scene I found intriguing was the discussion about the different culture's methods of grieving/remembering/commemorating their dead.

Got a chuckle out of the Wonder Woman convo since he's gonna be writing it soon.

I think the editor will be forced to keep King's worst tendencies at bay.
But I don't think he will lack any other place to expres himself.

I remember 1975 and 1st Issue Special. I can only imagine what I would have thought if someone told me that in almost 50 years, there'd be a comic where Warlord drives a convertible into Lady Cop's cop car. Seriously, this comic should NOT be taken seriously. Go with it and enjoy the craziness.

When you have that as the main cover then it is hard to be super serious about this thing. Anyway, latest issue had some cool moments.

I loved the Apokolips scene with Highfather, Orion, and Darkseid.

Yeah I think that's been a cool thing for a change, seeing Highfather & Darkseid together not fighting .
All the cursing has been funny too , lol

I'm not a fan of most of King's use of grawlixes (using &^%* to represent swearing), but in this instance with a mid 1970's book being the inspiration, it is ^%($## fitting.

And King has deservedly gotten praise for his New Gods/Fourth World stuff. He treats Highfather and Darkseid like the concepts they are and not just superhero story foes.
