No spoilers please.
And a preview with dialogue is now availablw.
It's Talon and Maggie's baby. She was pregnant in the SLG run and the solicits talk about it.
We don't know what the deal with Maggie and Talon's baby is, just because they're mutates doesn't mean their child with be.
Also, those are definitely Talon's arms on the cover, I recognize the wrist-guards. https://gargwiki.net/images/7/77/Talon.png
Hmmm... Kinda it is! I mean, the moment they became mutants, all their DNA was altered, including their reproductive material. Whatever alteration an individual suffers on its DNA, it will be transfered into their descendance. Do you really believe any child of Spider-Man, Hulk or the Fantastic Four wouldn't inherit any alteration in their DNA?
Hmmm.... I don't think so, pal. I mean, even as mutants, Talon and Maggie are still mammals. We humans are mammals, while Gargoyles are reptiles and reproduce by eggs. The only mammal I know to lay eggs is the platypuss, and I don't think that can be adapted into human physiology. According to the original plans, Goliath and Eliza would adopt a kid, however.
Gargoyles aren't reptiles, they're gargates: https://gargwiki.net/Gargate
Anyone read the first new issue. Its great, liking the dialogue and I actually do hear voices like Keith David, even RIP Ed Asner while reading this.
Oh nice, a review from someone who's never watched the show: https://graphicpolicy.com/2022/12/07...w-gargoyles-1/
A good start to the series. I hope to see a LOT more.

For the record, Weisman planned for Eliza and Goliath to adopt a human child at some point.
