So yeah, Claremont does stuff that stretches logic like this, I really don't see how Mystique impregnating Destiny would be that far fetched lol.

Shifting from the stork to the birds and the bees. There were some nods to The Shroud early in this thread. It seemed like a nice pairing, and TPTB kind of (well, actually, no "kind of" about it) did Shroud dirty with his presentation in Daredevil. But the Shroud-Arachne pairing was always weakened by it being told for a CIVIL WAR story and not shown over time. I always figured the door was open for John "U.S. Agent" Walker after all the time he'd spent with Julia and Rachel in their West Coast, Force Works, and Omega Flight tours.

Indulging my inner fanshipper, however, and keeping it inside the Spider corner (art by KillerMoon)... I figured Ben Reilly would've made an interesting combination. That is, Ben Reilly back in the 90s when he was kind of a "Racer X" to Peter's Speed Racer; not the Diet Deadpool he struck me as during his last series.

Possibly. No age comparison is given, just that Val was ahead of Julia in terms of college progression. It could be because she was older, or maybe similar age and Val was more focused going in.

I can't deny that that's what TPTB have made of old Benji. Come to think of it, that's what they also did to Julia's ex, The Shroud. But a shame for the guy who represented Marvel versus Connor Kent, and also had a crossover with one of my favorite Image heroes.

Both Julia and Nita were part of Dr. Strange's SECRET DEFENDERS group; however, since Strange sometimes adjusted the team per mission, I don't think they were seen together... But the premise is there for the two having known each other.
