"He's pure power and doesn't even know it. He's the best of us."-Matt Murdock
"I need a reason to take the mask off."-Peter Parker
"My heart half-breaks at how easy it is to lie to him. It breaks all the way when he believes me without question." Felicia Hardy
Spoilers were taken from the YouTube reviewer who reads very fast and gets a lot of stuff wrong but it sounds simplistic and unoriginal enough to be a Wells story. Review is here.

It's only 'lame' if you root for Peter/MJ and it comes directly after the last issue, as Peter gets a chance to speak with the real Gwen after being judged worthy at the end and tells her how he feels, but if you root against Norman it's 'good' as he's judged unworthy by Gwen
Also, this bit of news does confirm that spoilers:end of spoilers
Slott's Gwen clone didn't survive Clone Conspiracy

Well the who idea of him being the gold goblin so far is his guilt still being there and trying to be a hero but the fear of him turning evil. It's basically a porn man's version of beyond except Normans rich can create his own tech. It's just boring as now the run feels like outside the X-Men stuff it's feeling like Norman is being moved to the the main guy and Pete being Normans supporting cast
Simple is fine.
Simplistic is not.
Maybe Wells has an amazing explanation inside the story (evidence to date, however, suggests he will not) but yeah, so much for the whole "Peter did something bad and everyone hates him" six month timeskip LOL.
Wells might be worse than even Slott at keeping his own continuity straight, as ASM 900 also showed.
Maybe the story will be amazing, who knows, maybe Wells is capable of telling an original, compelling story LOL
But so far this sounds like more flanderizing of Peter as so compassionate and good, he makes Jesus Christ look withholding and petty instead of treating Pete like a three dimensional human with flaws, while once more Wells gives all the character development and depth to a villain.

I've also seen it pointed out the spoilers make the story sound like a rip-off of JMS's Happy Birthday, only exchanging Uncle Ben (and really, wouldn't it have made much more sense for Uncle Ben to be the avatar of Peter's judgement?!) for yet another "Gwen makes Peter sad" story.

I’ve read it. It’s already pretty much been spoiled, but all I’ll say is the art is awful. Norman looks like Harry. The actual story is middling… fine enough for this run, but pretty predictable and like others have pointed out, a spoilers:end of spoilers
bit too similar to the end of ASM #500.
