Oh damn. I just learned of this awful news.
Avengers Forever would not have been near the treat it was if not for Carlo's contribution. I think I first saw his work on DC's Flash in the 90s? He was amazing even back then. Most recently, I saw and liked his work on the Life of Captain Marvel mini-series.

I have provided caregiving for quite a few patients with ALS. It was an... experience to say the least...

Absolute legend for me, his 90s fantastic four and X-Men were some of my favourite ever issues.
He seems a strong minded guy and I wish him the best.
