I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

And while I was searching for comics with Fire fighters, I did come across this book. Obviously not an entry, since it is a mass market book.
It says he is a fire fighter though.I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.

Man I miss the Hela of this period of the comics. This was a killer story with an awesome cover by Big John Buscema.

Our family used to watch Emergency too! My younger sister's favorite was co-star Randolph Mantooth.
