A Playlist For Alison Blaire

One of the major downsides of the comic medium is we can only guess what the Disco Dazzler has in their standard setlist. We've seen her perform 'Proud Mary' in Uncanny #239.

There are only a few noted songs of hers where we can look at her lyrical prowess.

My question for you is - when you think of The Dazzler, what music do you hear?

Obviously we have Disco, but has where else can her repertoire take her? Did she have CDs in Starbucks everywhere after a 2000's-era Norah Jones collab? What about a country single with Orville Peck? Would she perform at a Lilith festival? Has she written a bubblegum pop song for the end credits dance party of a Dreamworks flick? Should we try and create an official collaborative spotify playlist for the lightingale? (Is such a thing even allowed on this site?)

Definitely some mind-numbing/melting pop. The energy her reputation gives me is just unbridled non stop pulsing beats that never really gives you a chance to take a break. Like you would have to leave the building to catch your breath.

Dazzler isn't pure pop to me. anyone who knows the character knows she is hard Disco and Rock and Roll.
