MCU Gamora and the Soul Gem

ok guys, we're the guardians of the Galaxy... Gamora, here, is the only one in the universe who know where to find the soul gem. Thanos needs her to complete the infinity gauntlet because she's the only one who know where it is... We need an intelligent strategy. What do we do ?

1) we go away, we disappear, we hide Gamora and ourselves in some remote corner of the universe.

2) we go, taking Gamora with us, directly to Thanos, a creature far more powerful than all of us put together, to challange him.

what's the only plan that have some sense ? really guys, that part of the movie was a total nonsense....

I agree: total non-sense. The universe is doomed because of these attention-seekers of super-heroes who can’t stop joking during the whole movie…

Writers said she is trapped in the soul gem like the comics. Ironic thing is so is black widow than. That's why hulk could not wish her back.

Ironic thing is that means when cap returned the gem he unknowingly took both womans souls away from earth! Oops.

"It’s implied it’s the soul stone. It’s all orange around, then he’s inside the soul stone with the amount of power that it took to snap his fingers — he has this out of body experience," Russo told the crowd of students. "When he goes inside the soul stone, he has this kind of conversation with the younger version of his Gamora."

But it didn't stop there. It turns out Gamora is actually in the soul stone!

"She in fact is yes," said Russo. "It was an attempt on our part- because we don’t like two dimensional roles or three dimensional villains. Every villain is a hero in their own story and as insane and psychotic and brutal and violent as Thanos is, he’s a more complex villain if you go on a journey with him emotionally. He does care for things and it is complicated for him to execute his plan and it cost him something."

As for the plan none of it made as much sense like sending cap to return the gems alone without a glove or the ball to put the gem in, no loki staff, no tesseract, how did he get the gem back into jane, red skull, etc.

All that loopholes would have been solved if they had others go with him.
