Have overhauled the Mind Based Status Effects Guide

Of note, all Mind based attacks [CHR] are now universally 50% damage (further explanation for this in the relevant post) but are now ranged by default. Changes to RES as a system have also now been codified on that post. I have also extended the durations for higher level Techniques so while Mind Builds will do less damage they will do better at debuffs and other such chicanery.

As in between HP and Mastered ENR, correct? Yeah sure, to be precise it would be the ([PRE stat]+40)/2

Ah, so it cuts the whole healing in half rather than the bonus. Got it. For me, that would work out to (+35 health/+70 ENR) if used on another person, (+35 health/+10 ENR) if used on myself. Makes sense.

I added in a question re: status effects as well.

Oh I thought you couldn't heal ENR in any capacity.

    For reference, Post #4:

    HEALING AND ENERGY RESTORATION
Healing and Energy Restoration techniques can be created and will operate on the following logic. They must be derived from the PRE stat.

HP will be restored on the basis of the stat boost provided to the technique.

Example: Base PRE stat: 40 + 40 (Honed Technique) = 80 HP restored.

ENR will be restored at a ratio of 1:2 when targeting someone other than yourself. When targeting yourself, you will only recover ENR equal to the basic level of the technique and you will still lose the ENR cost to cast it:

Example, cast on an ally: Base PRE stat: 40 + 40 (Honed Technique) = 160 ENR restored.

Example, case on self: Base PRE stat: 40 + 40 (Honed Technique) - 25 ENR to cast = 55 ENR restored.

ENR can naturally restored in combat by taking a whole turn to focus. Doing so will restore +20 ENR. If the player is attacked, then the ENR will not be restored.

And yes, as outlined in the patch notes, you will get +30 ENR per turn if you take no action, +20 if you only use Regular Attacks and +10 if you use a Technique Action.
As it stands, technically it's not in the game but I'm in a loose mood so why don't we put it in? Maybe make it the full amount of the Technique... perhaps...? Let me think on it some more, my mind is currently focused on finishing the Status Effect Tables.

Yes, the total would be take additional -25% penalty for including a status effect.

So in your example, it would be like (+17 health/+52 Mastered ENR) assuming Mastered ENR recovery remains unhalved.

So the ENR also takes the penalty? Okay! Will keep considering.

Curious to hear the final decision.

I'll take a swing at these techniques a bit later...been negligent in reviewing the patch notes.

I'll likely be retrofitting what Kinu already has as appropriate, but I'm also presuming that there are non-combat scenarios that we should account for.

Just noting that Tami has pulled out of the game and Charles has been removed from the cast list.

Body Status Effects are all but done and will be posted later today. Done some interesting things wherein they function slightly differently to Spirit and Mind in terms of checks.

    Krys: Once-Sword of the Goddess

    Techniques

    Body (1+1/0/0)

"Everything Is Change, But That Change Can Be Deferred."
(mundane + transferred mundane) Honed Soak Technique
Having lived within and outside of All Things through Time out of Time, Krys understands that while the web of reality is in constant flux, its shifts can be seemingly halted - in truth, postponed - by the denial of entropy and linear time. By dint of great effort, she can become a seemingly fixed point in entropic existence, unbreakable and unmovable.
'Force can impart change, but one can choose to withstand it.'

    +40 DUR, WITHSTAND
    Cost: 25
Description: Beyond the occasional appearance of a doubled image, very little appears to occur. However, Krys inexplicably becomes capable of suffering tremendously potent attacks without severe injury.

    Spirit (6-1/3/2)

"If A Force Is Understood, It May Be More Easily Obviated."
    Mundane Soak Technique
Having lived within and outside of All Things through Time out of Time, Krys understands that understanding an imposition of change upon the latticework of their being better allows them to shed that imposition. With a modicum of effort, they can tune their perception of All Things Are Finite to allow them that comprehension and better resist assaults upon their existence.
'Grasping the pattern of a complex system, it becomes easier to withstand the individual elements.'

    +20 RES
    Cost 10
Description: Nothing really appears to happen.

"All Things Are But Foam Upon The Waves."
    Mundane Mastered ENR Recovery Technique
Having lived within and outside of All Things through Time out of Time, Krys understands that they - and all of what exists - are nothing more than fluctuations in the vast, everchanging web of reality. Accordingly, they can easily allow the energies of those other fluctuations to permeate their being, invigorating them.
'The restoration of intrinsic energies is a perceptual interpretation of what truly occurs.'

+20 PRE for +50 ENR Recovery
    Cost 10
Description: On the macro-scale, nothing appears to happen.

"Form is a brief phenomena that nevertheless exists."
    Honed Healing/Energy Recovery Technique
Having lived within and outside of All Things through Time out of Time, Krys understands that what appears to be individual beings are nothing more than brief waves in the vast sea of all that is. With that knowledge, they can nudge the fundamental connections between the discreet portions of that ocean in defiance of the local laws of entropy, pressuring the waves to their previous state of being and breaking down exterior influences.
'What you are can be altered within slices of entropic existence, but entropy can be denied.'

+30/+10 PRE for Healing and ENR Recovery (respectively), PURGE
    Cost 25
Description: For those trapped in linear time, it is as if the body shifts to previous, unwounded/more energetic state. Injuries do not heal; instead, they disappear as if they were never there, or partly disappear as if the actual injury was interrupted in the making (wounds become less deep, burns become less severe, etc).

    "Perfection Does Not Exist."
    Honed Counter Technique
Having lived within and outside of All Things through Time out of Time, Krys understands that perfection is an impossibility. Shifting their perceptions to a higher frequency, they identify both the weaknesses of an attack and the best point to strike during their riposte.
'All things are imperfect and may be subdivided; it therefore follows that all things possess frailties.'

    +40 PRE (Primary), AWARENESS
    ENR 25
Description: There is no visual effect to this technique beyond it nullifying attacks with surprising ease and delivering far more damage on the counter than one might expect.

"There Are Many Roads To A Destination"
Honed Spirit (to be enhanced) + Honed (Mundane+Mundane) Body Attack Technique
Having lived within and outside of All Things through Time out of Time, Krys understands that within a system there are infinite ways to travel from point A to point B, but perceived from outside of the system that apparent infinity collapses to a single path. Summoning their energy, they again shift into Time out of Time to move through all potentials; once their target is reached, the system collapses to the proper path.
'If the goal is achievable, an apparently infinite amount of attempts will at some point succeed.'

+20 PRE (Primary), +20 SKI, +20 SPD, STIFFEN
    ENE 25
Description: For no more than an eyeblink (that might seem to stretch into eternity), the space between Krys and their opponent is filled with a nigh-infinite images of Krys in mid-attack and their opponent defending. Then the moment collapses to a single, discreet attack striking precisely to a vulnerable point.

"Heat-Death Is Only A Single Slice Of What Is"
Trait Dependent Technique: "There Is A Truth In Granularity"
    Epic Persistent Counter Technique
Having lived within and outside of All Things through Time out of Time, Krys understands the apparent linearity and flow of time to be a perceptual illusion brought about by an existence dependent on entropy. Through the use of their own intrinsic energies, they can briefly transcend such an existence and return to their simultaneously exalted and fallen state.
'Speed is illusory; time is illusory.'

-40 to RAC formula denominator, +10 SKI, CONTROL (factored into costs), AWARENESS (+25 SKI Countercheck)
ENR 25, 10/Round after the second round, +20 cost to all techniques after the second round
Description: Krys reacts to and counters...everything. They do not move more quickly, even if their opponents are far more quick than them or extremely numerous. There is no real visual effect, beyond the occasional appearance of There Is Truth In Granularity's illusion of shifting through space. It is paradoxical, an impossibility to beings that exist in Entropy, as incomprehensible for their senses and minds as a 3 Dimensional being is to a 2 Dimensional being.

"Permanence Is The Lie, Transience The Truth."
Epic + Honed Spirit Attack Technique
Having lived within and outside of All Things through Time out of Time, Krys understands that what appears to be solid and immutable is nothing more than an ever-changing sea. Pushing themselves to their limits, they can discern the waves that make up an apparently discreet subject and press them toward their inevitable disconnection.
'There is no end, only change, and that change may be encouraged.'

+60 PRE, +10 SKI, BLEED, DEVASTATE
    ENR 85
Description: Again, there is no visible effect, unless the watcher is capable of perceiving the universe on the quantum scale. Again, the damage is all out-of-proportion to the attack, as is the BLEED and DEVASTATE that follows.

    Mind (4/2/1)

"When One Understands The Road, It Is Simple To Choose The Proper Branch."
    Honed CHA Social Buff Technique
Having lived within and outside of All Things through Time out of Time, Krys has grasped that the concept of many roads applies not only to the physical, but to all aspects of reality...including interactions between intelligences. Employing her innate capacity to perceive opportunities for reduction - All Things Are Finite - she can map out potential pathways to success (similar to There Are Many Roads) in persuasive attempts.
'An exchange of ideas is as real - or not - as any other interaction.'
+40 CHA Buff to CHA, Social Interactions Only.
    ENR 20
Description: Nothing special appears to take place, though for an instant Krys may appear unfocused as she shifts her perceptions into Time out of Time to test many possible outcomes.

"Distance Is Factual, But Flexibly So."
    Honed SPD Buff Technique
Having lived within and outside of All Things through Time out of Time, Krys understands that the web of reality is in constant flux; what appears immutable is not. This includes the apparent space between what appear to be discreet objects. For Krys, it is a simple matter to attune themselves to these fluctuations and move with them rather than against them.
'Under the proper circumstances, distance is also a matter of perception.'

+40 CHA Buff to SPD for four turns. In-game for Krys: +19 SPD; if CHA stacked (w/o RES stack): +24 SPD.
    Cost 25
Description: Very little appears to occur. Krys simply covers more distance and shifts about more quickly without actually seeming to do so, an apparent paradox to those existing within entropic boundaries.

"What Is Believed As Absolute Is A Trick Of Perspective."
    Epic PRE Buff Technique
Having lived within and outside of All Things through Time out of Time, Krys understands that much of what we consider to be immutable reality and truth is merely our perceptions. Accordingly, through dint of extreme effort they may push their own perceptions to see more into the deeper nature of All Things and partially slip into Time out of Time. This allows them to interact with the seemingly discreet beings around them in a more fundamental fashion as well as take into account the potentials of future instants and past echoes within entropic time.
'Our interactions with All Things and entropic time are subject to the interpretations of our limited minds and our scale.'

+60 CHA Buff to PRE for six turns.
    Cost: 75
Description: At most, Krys eyes appear somewhat unfocused for several heartbeats.

    Social Matrix
    Notice: [BRA/5] + [SPD/10] + [Total Initial Mind Affinity Technique Slots] = 22/25**
    Insight: [BRA/5] + [SKI/10] + [Total Initial Spirit Affinity Technique Slots] = 35/38**
    Persuasion: [CHR/5] + [BRA/10] + [Total Initial Mind Affinity Technique Slots] = 16/27***
    Deception: [SKI/5] + [CHR/10] + [Total Initial Mind Affinity Technique Slots] = 28/32***
    Intimidation: [STR/5] + [CHR/10] + [Total Initial Body Affinity Technique Slots] = 4/8***
    Stealth: [AGI/5] + [SKI/10] + [Total Initial Body Affinity Technique Slots] = 13/16**
    Computation: [BRA/5] + [PRE/10] + [Total Initial Mind Affinity Technique Slots] (+5 if BRA is 50+) = 27/30**

    Skills

    Manipulation: 4 points - 1 component
    Creation: 6 points - 2 components
    Communion: 4 points - 1 component
    Knowledge: 8 points - 2 components
    Magnitude: 22

Open and Honest - Krys' nature grants them a bonus to Persuasion checks of 50% of their magnitude (Knowledge 1)

Fundamental Assessment - Krys' special perspective and instinctive knowledge of fighting methods grants them a bonus to Insight Checks pertaining to aspects of their opponent's capabilities when a check is requested. The nature of information revealed will be decided by the GM based on check challenge and enemy type. (Knowledge 1)

Time out of Time - With effort, Krys can elevate their senses in a crude approximation of their exalted state, allowing them to see aspects of quantum elements, energy flows, dimensions, and through a broader perspective of the apparent 'current' time than others. This will function as bonus to Notice Checks and will grant information at the GM's discretion (Communion 1)

As Below, So Above - With effort, Krys can increase the effect of 'There Is A Truth In Granularity', allowing somewhat larger capacity to skip over space and time. This will function as short range teleport and will assist on "sleight-of-hand" style checks when employed. (Manipulation 1)

    ** With stacks.
*** With "When One Understands The Road" and stacks.

    Unused:

3 x Mundane techniques (2 from Mind, 1 from Spirit)
    2 x Creation components

    Further Technique Themes:
    Certainty.
Rules to be broken (what most consider to be rules of reality are nothing more than biased perceptions of interactions. With great effort, they can choose a different perspective and enter that perspective).
Anything can be transcended (broken?), even rules.
"Consistency Is The Only Real Magic."
Having lived within and outside of All Things through Time out of Time, Krys understands that in a universe of constant change and possibility, ultimate skill lies in successful repetition. By focusing to an almost painful extent, she can briefly achieve levels of understanding of All Things that approach her previous state of ultimate freedom, comprehending the world around her in a similar fashion to both Perfection Does Not Exist and Permanence Is The Lie, Transience The Truth[i]. Holding that perception in her limited mind, she can draw heavily upon her keenly honed skill to
'When one perceives the goal, it may be achieved. The trick is repeating it.'
