I wonder how Queen Goblin factors in? Will she use her "penance stare" on someone, maybe transfer some of the sins of Norman? My bet is on something like that happening
When was the last time we saw Roddy? Outside his mini. Spider-Woman?
I don't count that Miles Morales arc because I'm convinced that wasn't him.
Who do we have? Ned and Roderick are knocking about.
I believe Jason Macendale was resurrected in Dead No More (with his Jack O Lantern identity?) so he could be out there, unless anyone remembers definitively seeing him melt. I guess that means Lefty Donovan and Daniel Kingsley could also be back.
Even that brainwashed chump Osborn stabbed with a glider in Superior Spider-man. Lol.
The more I think about it, this could really be my kind of crazy nonsense!
I'm the same on that. It was so awfully out of character if it was supposed to be Roddy that I assume it was another brainwashed pawn.

"Has Sariel summoned you here, Azrael? Have you come to witness the miracle of your brethren arriving on Earth?"
"I WILL MIX THE ASHES OF YOUR BONES WITH SALT AND USE THEM TO ENSURE THE EARTH THE TEMPLARS TILLED NEVER BEARS FRUIT AGAIN!"
"*sigh* I hoped it was for the miracle."
Dan Watters' Azrael was incredible, a constant delight and perhaps too good for this world (but not the Forth). For the love of St. Dumas, DC, give us more!!!
Because the one thing Zeb Wells's run NEeDs is yet another mystery box. :rolleyes.
Hmm... it's funny how nowadays all people take from Hobgoblin is the mess of a mystery... That said, I'm willing to bet they pull someone out of the woodwork, possibly someone who is deceased. You heard it here first, this time George Hill (the one who actually found Norman's stuff) is going to be the Hobgoblin.
If I recall right, that was supposed to be Phil Urich, as Norman's big "f*** you" to him for misappropriating the Green Goblin identity and associated equipment to try to be a hero, but the editors back then nixed it for being a little too mean-spirited or something. Of course, about 20 years later, Norman kills Phil, anyway, albeit after Norman's bonded with the Carnage symbiote and turned himself into the Red Goblin, and Phil's broken bad as the Hobgoblin, then the Goblin Knight, and then the new Goblin King.
The spider is always on the hunt.
Hope it’s Ned. Am I the only one who wasn’t a big fan of the ‘Hobgoblin Lives’ retcon and thought the original should’ve stayed Leeds all along? I know Stern intended Kingsley all along (or so he says) and the post-mortem reveal of Ned being Hobby was anticlimactic… but I always found Kingsley boring as dirt. Like a Diet Coke version of Norman. It also could be Macendale. I actually miss that sadistic psycho.
