Seriously? Shaw has limits. I’m not sure that he could even withstand Tony just standing there and punching him, which is about the dumbest thing Stark could do.

But given Stark’s ability to fly way out of Shaw’s range and just pepper (no pun intended) him with repulsors or uni-beam or whatever, how is this even a fight?!

Which version of the characters, since ISTR that the comic version of Shaw's powers seen to be a little different from the movie version, and comic and movie Iron Man operate on entirely different scales altogether.

Agreed. Some versions of Stark have had sonics as well, as I recall, which would make it an even easier win. But if I'm wrong, he doesn't even need those here.

On two separate occasions that I have seen, Iron Man threw a pill-sized capsule at an opponent that encased them with ice. The first time was in Iron Man Annual #3, when he froze Man-Thing into a big gnarly popsicle. The second time was either Iron Man #150, when he froze a pterodactyl that Morgana le Fay summoned to attack him. I think that capsule would take Shaw out immediately.

I mean, sonics should be something that Shaw could absorb as long as they don't instantly KO him, since that's just physical force and I don't *think* that Shaw had a lower limit that needed to be reached before his powers could drain them.
