So if they were going to destroy Krakoa anyway… why mutiny and force Hickman out to begin with?

Like I’ve complained about some of the dodgy tales made by the Queit council and the Krakoans in this era, but was anyone actually wanting a return to Roscanny?

I'm assuming that Gillen will stick with Immoral as Ewing and Spurrier will for StormatB and Nightcrawlers, respectively.

...then we segue into FoX for the next Big Summer Event...so...
they're really following four-month event arcs with two months in between to "set up"

This all sounds so...fucking tiresome.

I hope the other books are not derailed by SoS. Those Age of Blah Blah Blah events are so boring. I don't care about AU stuff at all.

As for Krakoa, can't say I'll miss it too much. The only thing I liked about it was the Resurrection Protocols.

Sadly nothing which strikes me as interesting as far as i can see.

Feels odd to me that after they seemingly de-railed Hickman's plans for what felt like an "epic scale" but straightforward rise and fall of a super powered society story (not one i would have enjoyed), in order to stretch the current era out and seemingly being so keen on keeping the current status quo going for a while, that they would still go ahead with finishing it off like this anyway.

So i can't help but remain doubtfull that this would really be the end.

Especialy since it feels like it would all just be a relative mediocre wimper rather than a bang that will actualy stay memorable.

As for going back to the mansion. I do wonder what could still come after this, if it does indeed end?

I just hope it's not the school again.

Well, it was a evidence Krakoa statut will not be eternal. But it's hard to imagine now to see the mutants go back in their older role.

Maybe we will just see Krakoa take a new form and no go back to the mansion ?

We don't even know if this is the end of Krakoa. It could be the fall of the Quiet Council, it could move mutants to the next phase without Krakoa.

It could also be going back to the fucking school, yeah, but we don't know

SoS will affect the three books I'm consistently reading and enjoying, so I guess I'll be at least checking it out but I'm not really excited about any of it right now. Do we know if New Mutants will be continuing in 2023?

I'm hoping Fall of X doesn't mean the end of Krakoa, there's still so much unexplored potential to this era.
